The CSE 35th Anniversary celebration will be showcasing the research efforts that is currently happening within the CSE department. CSE graduate students will be given the opportunity to present their research to faculty, students, staff, industry visitors, and community partners. Demonstrations will also be displayed and showcased all throughout the CSE building.
Poster SESSION Information
Attention all CSE students! The CSE 35th Anniversary celebration is not only to celebrate the birth of the Computer Science and Engineering department but to also celebrate and show case all the amazing and innovative research currently being researched on by our wonderful CSE Students and Faculty!
You are cordially invited to participate in the CSE 35th Anniversary poster session! If you are doing research, particularly if you've authored a paper in the last year and a half or so, then you should be part of this! The CSE department will provide all the support for getting your posters printed and set up for the event. You may also keep your research poster after the celebration to participate in other events like the Jacobs School Research Expo on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
As an incentive for all CSE students participating in the poster session, the CSE department will be giving each poster presenter a $50.00 VISA gift card.
Poster INSTRUCTIONS
Register for the Poster Session below. This registration is separate from the event registration. So please remember to register for both - for the poster session and for the event.
Your poster should be 3' x 4' in landscape format.
Place the poster title, author(s) name, and advisor's name (if applicable) at the top of your poster, with printed characters, at least 1" high.
The title should be the same as the title you registered with your abstract when you registered to participate.The poster should have large, legible text and figures. Describe results in a manner that would be clear to a reader, even in the author's absence. It should be possible to read your poster from 3 feet away.
Once you submit your registration, a CSE staff member will be in contact with confirming receipt of your registration and provide you additional information of where to upload your PDF file for printing.
